So I wound up developing an infection in my good leg that turned into an abscess. Went to the ER and after a nearly 10 hour wait - they lanced and drained the abscess. The numbing shots were beyond excruciating, but thank goodness those worked.
On two different types of antibiotics now, and it's hurting like all get out. Still swollen, still infected, though it's better, it's still a solid 7-8 on the pain scale much of the time.
I'm pissy, irritable, hurting, quick to bite, all in all just generally not in a great headspace. Think I will be doing some drumming and meditating today and see if I can ground myself.
Sleeping a LOT, whole body is aching and keep getting gnarly charley horses, but it IS getting a little better, just way slower than I like. No energy at all.
As a result, I haven't really been able to create much or work on anything since my leg started acting up. Prayers, reiki, good mojo happily accepted and much appreciated.
Thought I would share a pic of what I was working on before all this, as I never got around to sharing it, lol. Not sure if I can even plan on getting it finished this month, but we will see.
Thinking about adding a garnet dangle on the bottom.
