We attempt to bring the beauty and a sense of the sacred that exists all around us into our art through natural elements such as stone and metal paying homage to the natural and mystical elements that bring depth and spirituality into our lives. I’m a 4th generation rockhound that has had a lifetime love affair with metal and rocks and every art medium under the sun, just about! I truly enjoy working in stone and metal, and my soul sings as I grow and make something new that challenges me. I am hoping to create jewelry and art that stirs the soul and speaks to one’s deepest, most sacred spirit. He:
Jewelry is just one of the mediums through which I like to express myself artistically. Seeing a rough stone and pieces of precious metal come together to form a beautiful finished piece is one of the most satisfying feelings I can experience. My passion in the art of jewelry making is making statement pieces completely by hand starting with raw materials and ending up with a finished piece art you can wear.

Well, I got the backplate mostly done. These three images show the various stages.

The first image shows the setting with the design transferred onto it.

The second image shows the back side with my pilot holes drilled for my saw blade to go into to start piercing the design.

And the third image shows the fully pierced design on the backplate (that I also trimmed into the final shape) that will allow the beautiful colors of the back of the labradorite to peek through. It still needs a little more refining, but the main part is done.

Well I am going to try and do my first event since September and hope that I will be healed enough to pull it off!!!

I am super excited but a little nervous and scared that I might be biting off more than I can chew - but to be honest the wonderful members of my rock club are super supportive and kind and this would be the safest soft launch for me to see where I am at physically with setting up my booth for events again.

Plus it's a really fun event and I have greatly missed my beloved rock club and it will be SO nice to hang out with my rock peeps again as it's been 2= years of me not being able get to the club due to my truck being down and my health issues, so I'm jazzed!

Going to keep the front simple so that the stone is the star of the show, but the back is just as pretty as the front so I can't stand to cover it entirely.

I have been super sick for a while now, in and out of the hospital and ER multiple times in the last 8 weeks and had a small procedure done and am finally off the antibiotics and am slowly coming back to myself.

Finally got the urge to get back to my bench and got this amethyst ring set and polished at long last.

My rock club is having a member sales event later this month and I am hoping that I will be healed enough to be able to set my booth up for the first time since like September. 🤞🤞🤞🤞

So trying to get everything polished and get my inventory stock back up just in case I can swing it physically. Excited and super nervous that I might be pushing myself too hard and biting off more than I can chew when I still am not fully healed.😬 But going to hope for the best! 😊
