I’m a 4th generation rockhound that has had a lifetime love affair with metal and rocks and every art medium under the sun, just about! I truly enjoy working in stone and metal, and my soul sings as I grow and make something new that challenges me. Jewelry is just one of the mediums through which I like to express myself artistically. Seeing a rough stone and pieces of precious metal come together to form a beautiful finished piece is one of the most satisfying feelings I can experience. Trying to get back into a creative groove - been SO out of it lately ... just been wading through a super dark time with heavy stuff just coming from all directions. Trying to emerge into a new chapter and focus more on art in all forms and channeling all my grief, angst, anxiety, and fear into art and making creative, positive things.

Well, I have been having to do a lot of self care lately as I have had a lot of really heavy things hitting me from all directions all at the same time and just haven't had any time to come up for air.

OMG. It's almost done! 🎉🥳🎉

I owe MAJOR apologies to my sweet, lovely friend who ordered this necklace, for taking this long and many thank yous to her for being so gracious and patient and kind as I was struggling with a ton of depression and a lot of personal drama with my truck dying on me while wrestling with this commission (melting the first one and having to remake it).

At the home stretch now though! w00t!!
