The pentacle is one of the oldest faith symbols in the world. The five points are earth, air, fire, water, and spirit. The circle is unity and protection.

For Wiccans, it's a symbol of faith, worn the same way others wear a cross. You'll also see it across pagan paths: witches, Druids, Hellenic and Kemetic practitioners, ceremonial magicians, people whose religions are earth-based, ancient, and real.

Religious freedom that protects only one religion isn't freedom at all.

The wheel turns. Today light and dark stand in perfect balance before the dark half of the year takes the lead. Mabon is the second harvest — the time to look at everything you planted back in spring and actually name what grew.

🌾 Here's a simple Mabon working for tonight:
Light a candle. Write down three things this harvest season gave you. Read them aloud and let yourself feel them. Then write one thing you're ready to release before winter, and burn that one safely. Gratitude in, heaviness out.

The veil is getting thinner and the nights are getting longer. If you've been feeling the pull to look deeper... this is your season.

The Autumn Equinox is here, and Mabon is a beautiful time to pause, reflect, and honor the balance between light and darkness. 🕯️🌙

Mabon is often associated with gratitude, abundance, harvest, balance, releasing what no longer serves us, and preparing for the darker half of the year.

You don’t need a complicated ritual to celebrate. You can make a seasonal altar, light a candle, cook a harvest meal, spend time in nature, write down what you’re grateful for, donate to someone in need, or simply take a moment to reflect on what you’ve harvested in your own life. 🍎🌾

I put together this little Mabon guide so you can learn what the sabbat represents, ways to celebrate, and some simple ideas you can incorporate into your own practice.
