A huge congratulations to two of my dearest friends, C & K, on their engagement! Beneath a sky full of shooting stars in Sedona, K proposed and became part of a moment they will remember forever.

What an honor it has been to witness their love story and to play a small part in this incredible chapter.

When we began designing this ring, every detail was chosen with intention. At the center is a breathtaking Old European Cut diamond, a nod to C’s love of antique jewels (and, yes, a little inspiration from Taylor Swift’s iconic vintage diamond). Together, we designed a timeless three stone design inspired by a ring her mother once wore, honoring both family and the beauty of carrying cherished traditions forward.

The heart shaped side stones symbolize their two hearts becoming one, while the three stone setting represents their past, present, and future together. A ring that celebrates where they have been, the life they are building now, and all the moments still to come.

Beyond its extraordinary beauty, this is the kind of jewel I love creating most. One that holds meaning. One that tells a story. One that will be cherished for generations to come.

Have you ever seen Emerald paired with Alexandrite?

The perfect jewel to share on 🌎 Each color is reminiscent of Mother Earth and is a reminder of all that she gives us in order to create magnificent wearable art like this client’s stunning custom re-set. All the materials in jewelry come from the earth and with a little help from some incredibly talented hands and minds, this one-of-a-kind jewel was born! ✨

My client had a beautiful existing engagement ring yet her Oval Emerald didn’t have the pop she was looking for. We had previously created a detailed hand-engraved wedding band and after a few conversations my client decided it was time to re-set her ring. After a few consultations and conversations and back and forth with details, this is the design we created. A platinum ring and thick bezel that hugs her Emerald to provide that added protection for daily wear, the cluster-like Alexandrite halo to give it a unique and colorful pop, and the matching band that compliments her existing wedding band that we made.

This ring was no easy feat but that’s why having the right jewelers, ones who are dedicate to their craft and the meticulous details and have extensive knowledge setting emeralds, this ring was able to come to life. This is a ring that won’t ever be duplicated, and that’s why we love what we do 🤍 A true one-of-a-kind jewel
