Happy 40th birthday to my love. ❤️

Looking back at all these photos, I’m reminded of just how much life we’ve lived together. The adventures, the laughter, the places we’ve explored, the memories we’ve made, and all the ways we’ve grown along the way.

Of all the beautiful things we’ve created together, nothing compares to bringing our sweet Grace into this world. Watching you become her daddy has been one of the most meaningful chapters of our story, and my heart is so full knowing she gets to grow up with your love.

Life is always unfolding, changing, and teaching us, and there’s no one else I’d rather share this journey with. I’m grateful for the life we’re building, the love we share, and all the chapters still waiting to be written.

Still over here in my little corner of the universe slowly crafting custom malas for people in the community. This one was a treat.

Funny story, the woman who had purchased this Mala had attended the Trilogy rooftop T0TEM Boutique by Trilogy craft fair, and purchased a similar Mala made with a different stone.

After loving it, she decided she wanted a citrine one, but as fate would have it, she couldn’t find me. Her daughter was part of the Trilogy meditation training and when I gave the lesson on the Chakra system, I was introduced as Hana Pepin from Enchanted Strands and immediately and she said ha ha I have found her and her mom’s birthday was in two weeks so we made this piece just for her.
The day before her birthday, someone asked her what would she like for her birthday and the mom said I just really want the citrine Mala, but I don’t know where to find her little. Did she know that her daughter had found me in this Mala was going to be with her in 24 hours.

What a beautiful synchronicity, and also one of the most gorgeous pieces of citrine that I have gotten to work with. The moonstone is placed at the 27th bead for the practice of Japa meditation. What an honor it truly is to create the symbolic talisman for people spiritual quest.

The Trilogy Meditation Training was a beautiful, immersive weekend of breathwork, meditation, and soul activation. Walking along the beach, learning from the different speakers, and sharing the experience with such a remarkable group made it feel deeply meaningful.

My favorite moment was the 4 AM meditation Keith led. In the activation from that morning, I felt as though I reset some old patterns and begin carving a new path forward.

What I’ll remember just as much is the kindness in the room. Everyone was so supportive of one another. We laughed, danced, cried, and held space for each other through it all. I left feeling grateful for the experience and for the people who made it what it was. I think we all came away a little changed for the better.

Hi 👋 I’m Hana and I wanted to share some highlights of my life if you don’t already know me. Iv been integrating the teachings and path of Yoga since 2011, sharing it with others through asana, pranayama, mantra, japa, meditation and other healing arts.

After spending years of working on mastering the art of Asana, studying with Teacher such as Lesley Kaminoff, Judith Hill, Nishala Joy Devi, Jack Kornfield, and Tara Broch I began developing a meditation practice while simultaneously learning the mystical art of Japa meditation and shamanism.

A few of the most powerful teachers in my life have been the ocean and surfing, times of great challenge or suffering, the art of tea, and being in communion with family and friends. The way of yoga is always a path that has offered me insight and a way forward. Most recently, my greatest teacher is my one year-old daughter who reminds me every day of living in joy and witnessing our true essence which is the essential teaching of Yoga, becoming one with the divine.

Happy breastfeeding awareness week!

Here is to celebrating 1 year of breastfeeding. At around 5 months Grace started getting use to the bottle because I needed breaks in the day and wanted other people to be able to feed her when they watched her. I also love sleep and knew if I gave her bottles I could measure how much she got in a day and that way at night I could let her cry for a bit before going in to help her knowing she didn’t need milk or a diaper change.

Everyone does things differently. In hindsight I wish I would have just stuck with it knowing that she might still be on my b**b ( which was my goal). I wanted to be that mom breastfeeding a two year old in public with my b**b out. But ever since she was 3 months she would only breast feed in the dark, the world was too exciting and she didn’t have time to nurse. That meant late nights of getting up 4-6 times to nurse her and that just didn’t help me be the best mom that I could with so much interrupted sleep. I also had to plan to be home to feed her in the dark bedroom which , if you know me I’m a very social person and cannot be stuck inside.

There are so many ways breastfeeding does or doesn’t work and I’m grateful I was able to have an amazing supply and a healthy baby. All that matters is mom and baby being healthy so that can look so many ways. Here’s all the remedies that helped when my supply would dip.

I don’t think women are celebrated enough for the hard work it is to become a mother and even more to breastfeed. It requires being present all day, everyday. Even when I’m getting a “break” I’m still pumping, panning, working.

If you know of any good mom groups that don’t cost a fortune to be part of I think that is the most powerful thing. Whenever I’m around other women’s, moms, or community like feels so much easier having a child. It feels like that is how we are suppose to live, all together not separated in our own houses where we don’t even know our neighbors.

Cheers to this amazing journey of motherhood. A thankless job but the most rewarding experience I’m honored to get to walk.
