The journey of these pieces is a story of heritage and heart filled treasure. Preserving and reimagining family treasures has become a “thing” I didn’t set out to do, but has been incredibly rewarding to reclaim and reproduce the heritage value of precious family momentos such as this extra shell charm when downsizing a grandmother’s bracelet and turning it into a garnet inlay pendant for her daughter and the bracelet for the granddaughter. The granddaughter wears the bracelet and the daughter wears the necklace. The heritage of a mother’s love continues on and I am so blessed to be a very small part of this story in such a wonderful family.

When a piece of jewelry I made revisits me to be resized it is a wonderful reunion. Remembering the creation moments of the piece before, during, & after it was fabricated is nostalgic to me.
