1940’s Mexican pottery available at Shop 1893, the Price Center & Garden, 222 W San Antonio, San Marcos, TX, open Wednesdays-Fridays 12-5 and Saturdays 10-3. Featured pieces include a rare “Deco” style with a bird; a “bandera” style (called that because it features the colors red, white and green like the flag, or bandera, of Mexico; and a pair of indigenous male and female hanging figures that are actually hidden coin banks.
