and I were lucky enough to participate in something very powerful last night. hosted a Twilight Trek on their Underground Railroad Trail. We learned about how freedom seekers used the stars to guide them and how they lived off the land to survive. Brave in and understatement.

Thank you to our tour guide, who also shared stories of local enslaved people and their path to freedom.

Crossed another thing of my East Coast list.

Swimming in the historic Warm Spring in Virgina. It was an absolute dream being immersed in crystal clear healing waters...

Not to mention the scenery was beautiful.

Afterward, we stopped by to see the historic Omni Homestead and even grabbed a scoop of fresh peach ice cream.

Had SO much fun at the Ale Trail today.Beautiful day to be outside with the community celebrating Fall and Oktoberfest!

Spent an incredible day exploring the sacred lands of the Wabanaki people (now called Acadia National Park).

Up before the sun to catch amazing views, hiked around Jordan's Pond, swam in a crysta clearl lake, discovered hidden gems, and ended the day with the best soft serve swirl.

Friends!!! I made it to Mystic Pizza...never did I ever think I would get to eat "A Slice of Heaven". Bonus, the town of Mystic was incredibly cute.

Next we headed over to Newport, RI and lived out our New England dreams...stepping into clear water, gawking at HUGE mansions, and stopping for frozen lemonade on the beach.

Ended the day with a totally unplanned dinner at a vineyard.

And for my Swifties, we did drive through the city where Holiday House is, but no sightings...lol

Spent our 25th wedding anniversary being major tourists.

Started at the beautiful Embrace sculpture that represents Dr. King and Coretta embracing...did you know they met in Boston?

Walked almost the entire Freedom Trail, visited the JFK library to see their exhibit on Presidential pets, went to Harvard and in the words of the famous Elle Woods...What? Like it's hard?

Ended the night with an amazing dinner and stroll in the North End.

Today felt like a dream...Finally was able to snag tickets to and it was beyond words.The art, the nature, the peace......

It's Saturday, and I am in love....

Oh, Frederick, you captured my heart. There is so much history, beauty, amazing shops, great restaurants, and literally the friendliest people.

I was a total tourist with my map out, and several locals stopped to see if I needed help. :)

I can't wait to back!
