Good morning! I’m happy to announce my ballon pin held up remarkably well yesterday. It’s my first ballon pin that I’ve used a magnet. Once I’m satisfied that it won’t fall off I can create more. Stay tuned for final verdict.

Yes, ballon is meant to look like wind is blowing it. My mom kept telling me to make it look symmetrical. When I explained why it looked wonky she smiled. I like explaining my creations to her.

Life As An Artist: I’m always challenging myself to try new material. Lepodilite is a new stone that I am currently working with. It’s incredibly soft and has wonderful mica running through it. Earrings, pendants and barrette are currently curing. I hope they turn out well. I have to be careful once I start grinding, sanding and polishing. Wish me luck.

Life As An Artist: Stumble and fall but get back up! My apologies for going dark after Saturday posts. I wasn’t feeling great after a wee tumble I had Saturday morning. I felt fine and didn’t think I required medical attention however as the weekend progressed I felt worse. My diagnosis is a concussion. I’m on 72 hours of rest. No screen time, over stimulation and 2 week soft diet. I’m going to try and behave so I won’t be making too many posts until I get released from provider.
I am thankful for the visits with everyone. I hope y’all had an awesome weekend.
