The Horseshoe Crab and Shorebird Festival has been POSTPONED due to weather. Save the date - Sunday June 28th.

I went into "The Stash" yesterday (cue the Theme from "Jaws...) and inspiration struck like lightning 🌩

Spent all day yesterday (and most of the evening) wire-wrapping Sterling Silver and 14k gold-filled pendants. Trying to prepare for the season. Most of these WILL NOT be coming back, the beads were acquired years ago. 😎

And I came across one of my favorites - ABALONE! 🥰😍
I'm going to make macrame bracelets... they were very popular when I first started this gig.

The Wee Hours were spent assessing inventory - I'll be making more "Confetti" necklaces today or tomorrow.

This weekend's show (no doubleheader 🙃) is The Milton Horseshoe Crab Festival. Saturday, 10 - 3 at Milton Memorial Park.

Because of the weather forecast (this is the Delmarva, we KNOW it's sooooo changeable) the raindate of Sunday might come into play. I will keep you informed either way once I know.

Today's plan was to do some Spring cleaning, prep the hallway for painting, and be creative...

And then the VA happened... 🙄
I like my doctors, but an ongoing issue with a clerical error (that I have provided proof for FIVE times) drove me bonkers today. So, four hours later, the VA still (again?) has me back to being male... 🤨🤯😱

After phone calls, texts, emails, filling out forms online, uploading files, and generally hating, I made Military Morse Code bracelets and anklets. "F^ck Off" ones to be precise. 🙃

Then I started on a suncatcher - blue sea glass butterfly in the works. 🦋🦋🦋

Puppies were petted (Thyme, calmest puppy ever & Weeble, a true lady, are available for adoption from ) Met some lovely new people, and had the opportunity to see a few"old friends."

The Wee Hours were spent drinking coffee and drilling. Sea glass that is. Haven't done it in a while, and now I remember why! 🤭

I spent the rest of the day making Sterling Silver or 14k gold filled bails, wrapping glass, making new/different pendant necklaces, replenishing the dragonfly necklaces and getting ready for this weekend's shows.

Saturday- Strawberry Festival at the Lewes Fire Department (Nassau) 10 - 3

Sunday - Paradise Grill, Long Neck, 11 - 3.

The Wee Hours (and most of the day) were spent drinking coffee and replenishing the earring carousels. 🙃

Added hearts to the mix. The natural Mother of Pearl have been in "The Stash" for years, once the strand is used up, they're gone. Sorry.

Tried something different with the bead frames I found... not sure about these, I'm a small earring kind of girl. 🤣

I'll have a tray of wire-wrapped sea glass necklaces for this weekend's shows - just need to put them on cords (pictures tomorow.)

I still need to make a swarm of dragonfly necklaces, and I want to make some shell/beachy/nautical necklaces because it looks like WE MIGHT FINALLY HAVE BEACH WEATHER - YAY! 🥰

I'm going to find food and finish a few things - have a beautiful night. ☺️

Good evening Happy People! 😊

The Wee Hours were spent drinking coffee and making more "Confetti" necklaces; they were extremely popular this past weekend. (Thank you for that.) 🥰

I met several people from "The Island" (Long Island) during the weekend... was amazed at "The Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" vibe. (If you got that, you're old. 🤣😅)

Which begs the QUESTION: Where are you from? Drop a comment, where you're from AND where you are now. 🙏

Met a bunch of puppies at the shows, and true to my nature, can't remember their humans' names...

I also had to order and shop for supplies today - I will be keeping my prices level until I have to purchase Sterling wire (spot price of silver is $87.64 per ounce and gold $4,740.40. I do not have the time, nor the desire to look up the prices of my gemstones and bead strands; so I'm keeping the lid on this inflation thing for a little while longer. 😇

Tonight I'm going to play around with an idea and make a few of the "standards." Any requests? Just ask. 😘
