Inspired from the late 1800s our Diana ring features a sparkling pink 2ct lab diamond center with a white diamond halo accenting the center stone making this ring one of a kind! We love her so much and can’t wait to see this ring on finger!

More than 30 years ago, when Carri and her husband Jim got engaged, Jim proposed with an heirloom ring from his grandmother. It came with an accompanying shadow band that wasn’t quite Carri’s style and had sat in a box since then, but she knew it deserved to see the day of light. So she reached out to explore her options. We talked through a few options and settled on using the diamonds as accents around a central colorful sapphire for a pointer finger ring.

Carri, Jim, and I ventured down to their studio to select the center sapphire for Carri’s ring. Carri and Jim chose a perfectly indigo pear sapphire mined in Tanzania by Sabasaba (yes! Anza tracks who mined every one of their gemstones).

Now with all the stones selected we started on the mock ups. Providing a wide variety of styles based on our initial consult. Carri ended up loving the halo design and thus her ring was designed! We built the ring in CAD, printed out a wax replica for her to try on, then heading into production.

If you know me you know I love mixing colored gemstones with diamonds and this ring for Carri is one of my favorites. It’s always such an honor to work with clients to reimagine sentimental heirlooms and so fun to see the transformation from the original piece to the current one.
