AMAMANTAR 🤱🏾

Nuestra lactancia es nuestra fuerza
Nuestra lactancia es nuestra resistencia
Nuestra lactancia es nuestra medicina

I created this piece with pure creative energy of my womb/root energy. I divined through this piece with every stroke of my brush, sat by my altar candles lit and herbs burning as I painted into the dark night. Singing, feeling my ancestors holding me and sharing their stories of lactation to flow through me.

My art is my activism.
