Dang Brave Girl Brave Jewelry for life's Mountains and Valleys, created to carry you across Rivers and through Forests. I share that with you because it's important.

I started making jewelry after my son Jesse died in 2011. Life changing important. I think it became some sort of therapy and way of coping. As I learn to live with that loss I can tell you that I am being transformed. It is wholly and fully through the GRACE OF GOD that I am brave. I certainly don't feel like it at times but I am blessed with my other talented, brave son Tucker, an amazing family, a posse of supportive, loving friends and a husband who loves me more than I deserve. Thank you for being here and I wish you well.

This is a custom request from a local lady who saw a similar one I had down Carlsborg Store 💙. She had gone back to purchase it but it had been loved up so she reached out to ask if I could create another like it.
I can't always do that because stones are always one of a kind but in this case I had another strand of turquoise beads and I absolutely love making conchos. And I love that it gets to be the focal point and star of the show in this necklace.

+ I had the honor recently of making two custom rosaries... and these particular ones are called Franciscan 7.... for the Seven Joys of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
+ I was so nervous to get them right, as I have never done this exact style before... and I was so glad to hear they were well received by the women they were gifted to.
+ I made layered crosses for both, each carrying a different message on the back. I love that I could hand knot them and add lots of silver beads.
+ They turned out quite pretty....one is Lepidolite and the other is White Jade.

Malas are my specialty but I love that I could make something unique like these.

I named this ring As Above So Below but I secretly called it 'On Earth As It Is In Heaven'.... both carry the same sentiment and feeling for me.... and maybe for you too.

It's such a good feeling to put both of these on and get some pictures! I made a bunch of rings for this collection and they are all cool and have some element about them that were meant to be here.... but these, with their special bezel badges, make me smile right down to my tree lovin' soul.

It's time for me to sit down and do the deal with the computer now and create listings but you can bet I'll be enjoying the view.

There will be 2 Malas in the She Talks To Trees Collection 🌲.

Petrified Wood & Jade.... both hand knotted and complimented with my leather tassels. I didn't add pendants to either one and I love the look and feel of just the stones and leather.

Those wood beads have a earthy, matte finish and are the kind that you can get lost in, all while it anchors you in stability. The Jade is grounding in a different and beautiful way, allowing the flow of well-being and balance with just touching them.

Each one is unique in it's own way 💚... which one calls to you?

It really is all about the trees 🌲

We jumped on the bike this morning and took off to explore a beautiful fall day here in the PNW. We enjoyed the cruise around Lake Crescent before making our way to Sol Duc River. We didn't catch any salmon heading upstream but the views were incredible.

I could stand under the trees forever 💚
