Mystical Twisted Roots by Michelle Huster I am a jewelry designer and amateur geologist. I love the many shapes and colors of natural gemstones. I post here and in my Etsy shop.

I've been creating jewelry since 2010. My pieces include wire wrapping, beading and Lampworking glass. All of my work is inspired by the beauty of gemstones and wood. I'm intrigued with Rainbow Moonstone and Labradorite because of their mystical blue depth within the stones. Another favorite medium are fossils. Ammonites, in particular, have beautiful natural structures and flashing colors. I can

custom make 2 pendants from the same fossil. These make unique gifts for lovers, Mother's and daughters and best friends. Wire is another favorite material. With it, you can create wood grains, color and entirely unique pieces. I work with Argentium Silver 925, Sterling Silver, Silver filled and copper wire. Many of my pieces use recycled and reclaimed wire. To me, there is nothing more beautiful than gemstones. They come in all shapes, sizes and colors. Many believe they provide protection and mystical powers for their owner. Many of the pieces I make I can make using custom stones depending on availability and market prices of the stones. Tree's of life are a recent trend in my work as well. Some are wearable and many are large enough to be sun catchers. I use natural birthstones of family members and friends to make these trees unique.
