Laura Bee has been a well known professional in the jewelry industry since 1984. Later, feeling the need for more challenge and responsibility, she opened several of her own retail stores. Additionally she designed pieces for her own business as well as doing custom design work for a high end diamond company. The mother of three children, Laura has recently embarked on a worldwide effort to build

a greater public awareness of diabetes, to educate and through sales of her inspirational 2012 collection of A New Leaf For Diabetes jewelry, raise and donate funds for the critical research that is still needed to find a cure for diabetes. It is her vision that her new symbol of hope will enrich the efforts of the American Diabetes Association and the Juvinile Diabetes Research Foundation in their quest to find a cure for diabetes.
