The #1 engagement ring mistake? You won’t see it until you buy the band.
Horseshoe wedding bands exist because someone got the engagement ring wrong.
Stone set too low. No room for a band. So the band gets curved to fit around it.
Set the stone higher, leave space underneath, and a straight band sits flush.
Design it right once. Never fix it later.

CNBC wanted to know why lab grown diamonds took over. They asked Cory.

61% of U.S. engagement rings this year were lab grown. Up 239% since 2020.

His take: a diamond was never an investment, lab grown or natural. Buy the one you love and keep the rest for the wedding or the house.

Most jewelers sell you a ring. I didn't want to be most jewelers…

I had two ways to run a jewelry store. I picked the harder one.

The easy way: rings in a case, pressure at the counter, a quick sale.

The other way: start from a blank page, explain the diamond first, and build the ring around the couple.

You only buy this ring once. I'd rather get it right than get it sold.
