Jasper Yeast jasperyeast LLC is a small independent producer of local, tried-and-true and hard to find yeast strains for breweries of all sizes.

We have never increased our prices, and are the most affordable liquid lab around. jasperyeast LLC was started by Jasper Akerboom in June 2014. Jasper Akerboom received MS in molecular sciences and PhD in microbiology at Wageningen University, the Netherlands. After isolating numerous strains from localities all over the USA, as well as from old barrels and century old wine, he decided to share th

ose strains with the local craftbrewing and homebrewing community. We currently are growing small batches of several strains, and offer consulting services to craftbreweries on QA/QC and cellaring.

Gisteren was brouwdag 2 aan voor de CRAFT Mega Collab bij Kaapse Brouwers Het idee achter deze collab is dat onze leden bij en met elkaar brouwen en van elkaar leren.
