🎃 30 Days of Halloween Fun 🧡

Who says Halloween has to be all ghosts, goblins, and spooky things? 👻 Sometimes it just needs a little sparkle and a whole lot of personality! ✨

Today’s creation is a handmade beaded bracelet featuring Halloween black, pops of turquoise and orange, and a sweet little flower that decided to steal the show! 🌼🖤

I love mixing unexpected colors and seeing where my imagination takes me. Sometimes the smallest details make a creation extra special!

🎃 What do you think? Should Halloween accessories be spooky, colorful, or a little of both?

🎃 30 Days of Halloween 🧡

The experiment continues! 🧪🎃

The mask survived the first inspection, and now it’s time for the wearability test! I’ll be wearing it—indoors only! It’s an old T-shirt, after all… this IS an experiment! 😂—to see how comfortable it is, whether it stays put, and how well my little experiment holds up in real life.

Of course, Venus will be keeping a close eye on quality control. 🐾😂

🎃 Little pieces… BIG Halloween plans! 🎃

My shelves are filling up with lots of little creations just waiting for inspiration to strike! And, of course, Venus is keeping a very close eye on the progress. 🐾😂

Who knows what all these pieces will become? Stay tuned… 👀🎃

🎃 WHEN THE BOSS CALLS BREAK TIME… 🐾

I’ve been busy! 😂

Little by little, my Halloween collection is growing. Masks, treat buckets, bracelets, 3D-printed pieces—and, as usual, several ideas waiting for me to figure out exactly what they want to become.

Some days I can sit in my craft room and completely lose track of time. I’ll tell myself, “I’m just going to finish this one thing…”

We all know how THAT goes. 😂

Apparently, someone has decided I need a better work/life balance.

Venus came over with that face and I’m pretty sure I heard:

“You’ve been working hard… why don’t we take a break and go for a walk?” 🐾

And judging by the look she gave me, I don’t think it was actually a suggestion. 😂

So, the 3D printer can keep printing, the beads can stay right where they are, and the rest of the Halloween ideas will have to wait a little while.

The boss has spoken. We’re going for a walk. 🐾❤️

🎃 🔬🧫 🧪 AN EXPERIMENT IS UNDERWAY… 🔬🧫 🧪🎃

Yesterday I gave you a little peek at the creative chaos and today I can show you where one of those ideas went.

It started with one of my favorite questions…. “I wonder if I can…?” 🤔💡

I 3D printed this delicate masquerade design and decided to try something I’ve never done before—turn it into an iron-on embellishment.

Would it work?
Would it stick?
Would I completely ruin it trying? 🤔

There was only one way to find out…

🎉 IT WORKED! 🎉

Once it was ironed onto the dark fabric, it completely changed the look. What started as a little 3D print suddenly reminded me of delicate metallic lace. 🔬🧫 🧪

Of course, before I could get too excited, it had to go through Venus’s First Inspection.
🐾🔎🐾

There was sniffing.
There was investigating.
There was some very serious quality-control work happening.

First inspection: PASSED. ✅🐾

But we’re not done yet!

The real test comes next—wearing it and washing it to see how well it holds up in real life.

And apparently that part of quality control has been assigned to me. 👚👖👞
Hmm 🤔 what should I wear?

So while Venus handles the initial inspections, I’ll be doing the wear test, the wash test, and reporting back on whether this little experiment is truly a success.

Because around here, “I wonder if I can…” usually turns into “Well, now I have to find out!” 🤨 👀 🧐

🎃🐾 A Saturday Sneak Peek… 🐾🎃

There are pumpkins on the table, beads everywhere, pieces fresh off the 3D printer and about six different ideas competing for space in my brain. That part is nothing new!

🤔

This isn’t my favorite part—the moment when everything looks like a completely random collection of stuff.

My favorite part comes before all of this. ❤️
It’s the blank canvas… when there’s nothing there but an idea {💡} in my head, and little by little that idea becomes something I can hold in my hands.

🧚 🪄🧚‍♂️That’s the magic for me. 🧚🪄🧚‍♂️

And right now, a few Halloween surprises are starting to take shape at
Design’s by Darlene. 💜🧡💚 👻 💜🧡💚

As for my boss? I have NOT been given Saturday off. 🐾😊🐾

She’s supervising from her executive suite and making sure I organize this mess so I can get back to creating.

Judging by that face… I’d better get back to work. 😂🐾
