The design process starts with an assessment in order to determine the "problem" for which a design solution is needed.

In the beginning stages of designing the RnB living room, I was met with a treat - an ideal client.

While all clients are important to a designer, an ideal client is one who has full faith in not just the process but the designer as well. This can make a world of difference in what levels of creativity the designer can be stretched to - less trust more restriction vs. more trust less restriction.

This client gave me full reign. Follow this series to see how it all worked out!
