How do you set a stone this uneven? 💜

Druzy quartz doesn’t have the smooth, predictable edges of a traditional cabochon—and that’s exactly what makes it so captivating. With a custom frame and carefully placed prongs, this raw crystal becomes a secure, one-of-a-kind pendant without hiding its natural texture.

Want to learn how to design around unconventional stones like this? Join Kim for the next Framed Pronged Druzy Quartz class on September 11th at Tucson Jewelry School.
