If you could have a "do over" in life, is there anything you'd do differently? Tim might want Dean Phillips' life. Getting to go to a comic book store everyday and live your best life sounds good.

His article for Midlands Business Journal looks at Krypton Comics.

Those in search of vintage comic books, such as “The Amazing Spider-Man,” “Fantastic Four” or “Superman” will find Krypton Comics ranks among the best places to find unique or vintage

John Cusack brought his classic movie, "Say Anything," to Omaha's Steelhouse Saturday night for a special screening, followed by a Q&A.

It was a good time watching the movie, which also starred Ione Skye and the late John Mahoney, as well as featuring actors such as Joan Cusack, Jeremy Piven, Eric Stoltz, Lili Taylor and Bebe Neuwirth.

Omaha showed up strong, with fans asking thought provoking questions. Cusack openly shared thoughts and views.

One of the positives about being a journalist is the opportunity to cover a fun story. That time came recently when Tim covered a trial that could have cracked the court system over the way lawsuits handled. The jury's decision could've have fried the defendant.

Here's Tim's story for the Omaha Daily Record on the mock trial of Humpty Dumpty vs Shawn King.

Shawn King hired Humpty Dumpty to sit on a wall to help promote his auto dealership, King’s Kar World. King provided a molded seat for the egg to sit on for her comfort. What happened next was left for a jury to determine. Humpty Dumpty lost her balance and fell several feet, shattering her shell....

Nebraska City's Arbor Lodge Historical State Park is home to fragrant lilacs through mid-May. Definitely worth the road trip.

My feature for the Omaha Daily Record.

Visit Nebraska City and you'll find trees. Trees of all kinds - maple, oak, birch, fir. What you may not know is that the birthplace of Arbor Day is also home to the fifth-largest public collection of lilacs in the United States. For a month every spring, more than 200 lilac plants bloom into mid-Ma...

"There is an identity in the Minne Lusa and Miller Park area in a way I've never experienced anywhere in the world. People are from Minne Lusa. They're from the Miller Park area. It’s in their blood. So there's a lot of real affection for this area and a lot of pride." -- Nancy Gaarder, president of the Miller Park/Minne Lusa Neighborhood Association.

Tim's latest feature for Omaha Magazine.

More than 125 years old, Miller Park/Minne Lusa is one of Omaha's oldest neighborhoods—and one of its closest. Neighbors wave

Nebraska wasn't home to dinosaurs, but some very interesting prehistoric mammals called the area home.

Here's Tim's article for Omaha Magazine taking a trip along the state's Fossil Freeway.

Forget the T. rex, stegosaurus, and brontosaurus. Nebraska, once a prehistoric sea, had bizarre-looking mammals roaming the prairie. Imagine a

“I don’t think there is enough outreach. I don’t think there is enough light on it. You don’t really see a lot of women in the cockpit, so young girls getting on planes, that’s not something they’re exposed to, so it’s not something they think that they can do. So, I think events like this, organizations like Women in Aviation, are really important for that reason.” --Ella Stamp, UNO Aviation major

Tim's latest article for Omaha Daily Record.

It's not often that the idea to become a pilot hits someone as they jump out of a plane a few thousand feet above the ground. For Lana Huetson, it made absolute sense as she leapt out of the plane during her first - and only - sky diving experience. Having never flown on a commercial jet, Huetson's....
