This particular piece holds so much emotion, and I’m honored to have been part of creating it for my client. More than 50 years ago, her mother gifted her a beautiful loose blue gemstone. It is a custom hand cut stone and we had to custom make the mounting. When she finally saw that stone set into a piece of jewelry, her eyes almost filled with tears.
Now in her golden years, she told me she wishes she had said yes to the Black Sea pearls instead of the sewing machine. Love yourself, she said.
