Happy California Native American Day ! Sharing about my Kumeyaay family !
I took these pictures around my birthday with my cousin Charlie McHenry and his partner, my grandpa Mark Romero , my husband Darth Xile , destiney, and my brother Hollis Romero who cooked us a delicious venison meal he hunted himself this year.
I love my family and I’ve been wanting to start a family photo book then pass it down in our family for future generations and tell stories ❤️.
The last picture is real btw it’s one of my favorites of him growing up so if I ever have kids, I plan to show them that in the photo book lol 😂 .
My grandpa was mesa grande chairman during the 2000s to mid 2010s and has done a lot for the California native community even to this day so proud to his granddaughter !
Make sure to check in with your loved ones today and spend as much time with them as you can❤️!

Tw: vultures left me a possum in my yard .
I ended up picking up the possum after the vultures were done with their meal and putting it in a container with hydrogen peroxide to process its bones for future jewelry / art projects to give it a new life ❤️ .

In my own video about harvesting wild fox grapes I made sure to clarify the distinction between it and moon seed because that is one plant. You definitely do not want to eat.😅 https://youtu.be/2H7DgWI03ag?si=1SbrSA100eXGpq4z
