It is with so many emotions that I announce: Brass Jupiter is closing. The years I spent with customers and fellow makers have been amazing, and I thank you all for your support, friendship, and general good times. This decision has had me second guessing for months, but I think it is the right one.
I'm sure at least some folks will want to know why. It isn't because of sales numbers or anything - you all have been AWESOME and I could barely keep up with demand! It is a combination of things and like most of life, it is complicated. The biggest things are 1) issues with suppliers thanks to tariffs, quality decline in materials, and skyrocketing costs, and 2) my own inability to dedicate the time necessary to run a business and do all the other things my life demands, including rest for my body which has started to seriously resent repetitive motion and long periods of sitting. (Thanks for nothing, 40th birthday).
My heart breaks, even as it feels like a giant weight has been lifted. Rest assured that this page will remain active so if you need to contact me for repairs or anything, I'll still stand behind my products. I'll also be a patron at lots of events I'm sure, so say hi if the mood strikes. I'll probably be just as scatterbrained as usual, so make sure you remind me why I know you 😅. And my favorite sidekick, Chuck (aka the loud guy), will certainly be in tow from time to time.
