It's made from Silver Metal Beads, Glass Beads and Silver Beads.

I found the main beads during the ACMoore sidewalk sale and scooped them up, because I thought they were neat. Of course I had nothing to go with them, until I went through the archaeology dig that's my cellar and came across a full bag of glass beads.

The silver metal disc beads have a Crescent Moon with a pair of Stars on one side and a Smiling Sun face on the other. The Glass Star beads are a Portofino Blue, like MoonShadow my old Ford Contour, frosted with a hint of Aurora Borealis. In between are Silver Crimp beads and Clear Glass Spacers.

The whole thing came together quite well, I think.

There have been Sun Gods through out history from all the various Countries of the World. They were pictured riding in a Boat or a Chariot or a Bowl going across the Sky.

Most times the Sun is pictured as Male with the Moon as Female. There are few exceptions like Hindu(Soma), Hittite (Arma), Egyptian (Khonsu), Phrygian (Men), Sumerian (Sin), Japanese(Tsuki-Yomi) and Ugarit(Yarikh) where the moon is male.

In Japan(Amaterasu), Ugarit(Shapshu), Hittite(Arinna or Hebat), and Norse (Sunna) myths the sun was Female.
