🦃Today!🦃 Today is full of prepping, cleaning, cooking...all the things that any other day of the year, I don't love. But with Thanksgiving tomorrow...I LOVE doing all these things! It's that time of year when old family traditions and recipes make their way to the list of importance❤️ What is your favorite family recipe? Mine is my Grandma Willey's Date Bars!❤️ Listen! Dates...ewww...the raisin's relative...ewww...NO! NOT AT ALL!!! I have a pure disgust for raisins or prunes or any fruit that is shriveled and shelved. But these! PURE PERFECTION! My favorite memories of my Grandma are standing beside her in the kitchen while she taught me how to make these. "Make them often. They are your dad's favorite."....and I did. I still do. Because they are now my favorite too❤️ The recipe card pictured is in my own 17 year old hand writing. Tucked away somewhere safe, is the same recipe but in my Grandma's handwriting. How perfect would that be made into an ornament?!!! Time to find that treasure.🥰

One of my besties hit a milestone yesterday...50! 50 years old!...shouted in my best Sally O'Malley voice❤️ 😁 She is a music teacher and has found a new therapeutic pastime....DOODLING!!! Have you seen some of these IG pages?! The artwork created from doodling is amazing! Soooo...I gave an old music text new life by turning it into a doodle journal! What do you think? Is this something you would gift a friend? Or gift to yourself?!🫶
I have lots of new(OLD) books I will be turning into journals soon! Super excited!

1 of my besties is the best band mom, wife, mentor,....on and on.
This year her baby is a senior and the drum major of his high school band. Her daughter is marching for the best college band in the land. 💜...and her husband is an award winning high school band director! Band is life in this family!💜 If you see her sporting these earrings of her kids doing their thang, ...now ya know!
What activities are your kids involved in? Can that activity be incorporated into earrings? If so, I got you!😁🥰
