I am a big fan of finishing my work in a rotary tumbler-you can't beat the finish! I spent many hours on this lentil bead and was dubious of putting it into my tumbler.

Kudos to Jeanie Pratt for teaching me how to weave metal.

I knew the holes would be a magnet for the tumbling medium, so I cut a length of copper wire that was just a little smaller than the holes, annealed it and inserted it into the bead and bent ends to hold it in place snuggly

It worked perfectly! I was able to straighten one end of the wire to remove it from the bead. If you are afraid of scratching yoir bead, just cut the wire instead.

I finished my new signs for my upcoming shows. One is 18" and one is 36" for the background of my tent.
