After four years of doing artisan markets I have decided to make the 2025 Christmas markets my last ones 🥲

There have definitely been the “ quieter markets “ and then the busy ones . I have learnt so much and met some lovely artisans and makers along the way.

I might always do some stories / posts on what I have learnt , if it’s useful for anyone else.

I’m now looking forward to going to fairs instead of working at them ! Buying instead of “ praying I make enough to cover my stall fee “ 🙏 😜 🎄

Last year was a little bit crazy 🤪
we got married ! 💒
went on a dream holiday 🚢
and I took on a new job 🧑🏼‍🏫
Whilst it was all amazing, something had to give 👀
I was worn out & worried about not getting everything sorted for the wedding & not having my head in the right place for my new job.so … I gave up on making my jewellery 😞. It’s probably hard for others to really know, but maybe if you have a small business, you will know the amount of hours that goes into trying to make a business work 😮‍💨
For 7 months I downed tools and didn’t know if I would pick them up again. I didn’t feel like going anywhere near a piece of silver for ages and then this week I decided to “ do it my way “ . So I won’t be bending over backwards to please bigger market places , I won’t be trying to chase algorithms, I will be making jewellery that’s what I would like to wear and it I don’t sell anything on these terms , oh well !

Now that I got that of my chest , I’m off to enjoy Sunday dinner. Happy Sunday folks xx

Norway 2024 🇳🇴 beautiful fjords & splashy waterfalls 💦 We went by cruise liner …. Personally I would love to do Norway again, but with a campervan or airbnb, I have discovered I like to explore at my own time & on the cruise I just didn’t feel like I spent enough time taking in Norways beautiful scenery. 🇳🇴

Sunny at least 🙌 🌞 🍸 after months of wind & rain ☔️ only bad news is it’s the last day of my Etsy sale. I have put all my jewellery on sale for one last time before I pack it away for one artisan fair at Christmas. A few key pieces will still be available but the rest will gradually be taken down, packed up and stored away for Christmas time. Catch a piece now 💫 only a few pieces remain & small batch amounts x

I made my news year’s resolution to walk everyday , it lasted about 1 week into 2024 😬. Being outside, walking, I get creative & find I design more & make more jewellery . So far 2024 has been very wet & windy , not the crisp cold snowy weather I was hoping for ! This time last year I looked out over bright white fields surrounding our house, now it’s just trees bending back & forth & horizontal rain.
I think I might just stick to cups of tea , updating the website and wait for spring to bring back the creative side of me 🫖 🌷 🪺
