I was strolling through my favorite flower bed, full of the Pride of Barbados. They have showy blooms and beautiful seed pods. As these seed pods mature and dry, they split apart and curl up in the most delightful fashion.
I’ve always felt a deep connection with Mother Nature and am gracious for the gifts she gives. Inspired by the beauty of these impressive plants, this is what I came up with. Delicate yet tough, vulnerably bold, each pair of earrings, uniquely their own, are made from a fallen seed pod husk. Look elegant, naturally.
Model bust not to scale, earrings range from approximately 2 ~ 5 inches long depending on the pair.

I was strolling through my favorite flower bed, full of the Pride of Barbados. They have showy blooms and beautiful seed pods. As these seed pods mature and dry, they split apart and curl up in the most delightful fashion.
