While I’m not doing any more fluid acrylic I’m focusing on watercolors and trying new techniques. I really like it even if some are better then others. Practicing from different people or photos that Iv’e seen makes me realize I can enjoy something just for myself. I really enjoy it.

Got a commission from the county show. The customer who I know asked for a larger sea scene similar to what I previously done to put up in their home when they fully move over from the states. It is a 60x90cm canvas. I hope the customer will love it. Need a bit longer to fully dry before I varnish.

Felt like doing some watercolor today after seeing some amazing talents online,so decided to work from a photo from inside the caves here in freshwater at low tide. Pretty pleased. Working on layers to give more dimensions to the painting.

It have been a hot weekend and I want to thank some people that have made the weekend at so much better! Thanks to MarMoo by Amanda Cope for giving some thoughtful advice and encouragement. Thanks to Robert Scott for the chats about everything from art to the lifeboat. Thanks to Rob and Gabi from @2 bears Isle of Wight for looking after my space when needed and also sharing grapes, cherries and the fan. Thanks to Stripy Art and Maria Ward for all the good advice and finally to for all the arrangements and making sure we were happy.
