Our pieces are highly modern with an old world taste. You will also find many pieces that have a Gothic or Victorian influence to them. We use top quality, finely detailed mechanical watch movements which we hand pick ourselves. Most movements that we use are NOS (new old stock). NOS means they were made at the factory, but never got used. Each piece is individually hand-crafted, and made with the
utmost care. The movements that Mechanique uses are authentic. We turn these already gorgeous movements into stunning jewelry and accessory pieces. We use all authentic movements, no castings! Mechanique also utilizes clock movements and takes them apart for their fantastically intricate brass gears. All clock gears that are used are cleaned and treated. The natural patina on all of the parts that we hand pick are stunning, and allows us to make truly one of a kind statement pieces. Mechanique doesn't just limit themselves to jewelry and accessories. We also make one-of-a-kind steam-punk lamps!!! All lamps are made using found objects with authentic old meters!!! They are beautifully crafted and very different - something that a Mad Scientist might have on his work bench! Mechanique is capable of making the jewelry for your Steampunk, Gothic, or Victorian Wedding. We have done a full bridal party in 2011 that included all of the Bridesmaids, Groom, and Groomsmen.
