Jewelry that makes you feel special and like no one else. Pieces that will last a lifetime. Since childhood, I've been an avid crafter and sewer.

In 2004 I was looking for jewelry to coordinate with Victorian costumes and couldn't find just the right thing. So I began making my own and found I wasn't able to stop. Luckily, I had just retired from a career in the software industry and so could focus completely on all things jewelry. In 2005, I started Slinky Lynnx Chic to market my designs. I'm inspired by the varying colors of nature; Victo

rian, Art Nouveau and Art Deco designs; lacy wrought iron and geometric shapes. My designs range from delicate and complex to sleek and simple. In addition to beads, crystals, gemstones and precious gems, my jewelry often has elements of hand-forged metals. While a style or concept may be similar, each piece I make is unique. I frequently work with customers to create special pieces that reflect their interests and tastes. If you see something you like that is marked SOLD or if you want something slightly different, contact me. I'd be happy to work with you to create just the piece you want. As a member of the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG), Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America (MSJA) and the Association for the Study of Jewelry and Related Arts (ASJRA), I take advantage of classes, seminars, books and videos to hone my skills. I have an extensive library that covers every facet of jewelry-making from selecting components to fabricating a piece. I'm continually refining my jewelry-making techniques and am always adding new ones to my repertoire. Whatever technique I use, I concentrate on creating jewelry that is lovely to look at, comfortable to wear, and durable. I live in the mountains of north central Arizona where the beauty of the desert, mountains, and ever-changing sky influences my designs. I feel the joy of making jewelry comes from sifting though a variety of beads, stones, and metals until I find just the right colors and textures for a piece. The ultimate joy, however, is the smile on a customer's face when she selects a piece that speaks to her.
