I awoke to the word repeating in my mind. I decided to research the deeper meaning of the word and to my amazement, I found a Hebrew word that meant "a dream, revelation or vision". I was inspired because I am a visionary and have always wanted to help other women to "dream" and see their own potential. Unfortunately, I have seen neglect and abuse squelch the dreams and hopes of many women. So I t

weaked the word a little to come up with Chazon (sha-zown), very beautiful and french sounding, right? "Chazon...dare to dream again". Some of us are free to dream and others need our help to be able to dream again. The story gets better because I had not yet found a way to bring my vision of "helping women" to fruition. But....one morning I went to find my favorite earrings that I had taken off the night before. They were next to the bathroom sink where I had thrown them before I went to bed. To my amazement, they were laying together in a perfectly balanced geometric pattern. I stared and thought "what are the chances that this could happen!?" At that point I knew I was being inspired again and began to sketch out different designs! During this time, my kids were in college and I was leading Women's ministry at my local church. We partnered with Domestic Violence Services (DVS) to do fundraisers and help raise awareness of this devastating situation. And now, 4 years later, I am launching Chazon Designs with a beautiful, meaningful pendant called "Tugging on my Heart Strings". The purpose is to raise money and awareness to help domestic violence victims to "Dare to Dream Again!"

I have been given the chance to finally see the Vision of my heart come to fruition. And who knows where we will go from here. There are more designs waiting to be released, but for now, I ask for your support by purchasing "Heart Strings" so we can help others in need. A portion of the profits from the sale of "Heart Strings" is donated to The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services.

And that is how Chazon Designs came into being.
