The last of the -off Flower rings I’m planning to post here. There are more to see on in that lovely gallery.
It’s my favourite maybe because it is quirky. I have just this one at this size, plus two smaller ones.
It’s not clear in the photo but the tips of some of the claws atre gold and others silver, reflecting the variation in the stone. The same mix applies to the little beads lower down where the claws meet the rest of the ring.

Another new unique Flower ring from the bunch at . This one incorporates a chequerboard cut Citrine which reflects diamond shaped glints of light from the surface, but I forgot to capture those in the photo! Instead I focussed on the way the light was coming through from behind the stone where I had textured the silver base. I like how this reminds me of light.
Adding to the sunny quality there are gold tips to the claws and tiny beads enlivening the silver petal shapes.

This dates from the late 1970s, so properly -Century Modern. I did quite a range of brooches in the late 20th century- maybe time to think of some new ones…
