Silver Suspensions Handcrafted, custom designs, ready made jewelry in Gold & Sterling, since 1987 As she has evolved as an artist so have her techniques.

Terena Agle has been designing and hand crafting sterling silver beaded wire jewelry since the late 1980's. Her start came about on Granville Island, apprenticing under an architect turned jeweller, his mantra was "it is made right because it is made by hand". This holds true still today in her strive for perfection and continuing the unique geometric style. Every piece is a thoughtful creation, allowing parts to flow freely...to come to life. Organic textures such as silk ribbons, deerskin leather are combined with colourful beads, semi-precious stones, crystals and 14K gold. These compliment her designs creating an essence of vitality that is truly inspiring. Today, Terena creates from her bright, sunny Boundary Bay studio, just steps to the beach. She has developed her own eclectic style of form, forge and functional jewelry design.

Detroit's car factories had a secret gemstone growing on the floor. It wasn't mined. It was sprayed. đźš—đź’Ž

Fordite is what happens when decades of car paint—bright reds, metallic blues, candy oranges—bake onto the same tracks and skids, layer after layer, until the buildup is thick enough to cut. Workers used to chip it off and pocket it. Now it's polished into jewelry that looks like agate but carries the history of American automotive design in every stripe.

Some pieces contain lead from old paints, so California restricts its sale. But for collectors, that's part of the appeal: a material that's finite, nostalgic, and impossible to make again.
