I’m Selling My Handmade Pottery for the First Time! ☕💖

This is a little scary and very exciting to say — I’m officially offering my handmade pottery pieces for sale for the very first time. I’ve spent countless hours learning the wheel, experimenting with glazes, and creating functional pieces that feel comforting, sturdy, and truly one-of-a-kind. I have a small collection available right now: a handful of mugs in different textures and colors, three spoon/spatula rests, and one small decorative bowl. Every piece is food-safe and made with so much love.

If you’d like to support this new artistic chapter of mine, it would mean the world to me. And since it’s right before Christmas, these make thoughtful, handmade gifts for anyone who loves unique, cozy, functional art.

A few things to know about the pieces to keep them at their best:
• Hand-wash only — a soft sponge is best.
• Do not put them in the dishwasher.
• Microwave-safe.
• For mugs, I recommend running them under warm water before pouring something boiling hot in, just to keep them in great shape and avoid any thermal shock.
• Shipping is within the United States only.
• If you’d like more than one piece, I can combine shipping and recalculate the total — it will be cheaper than paying separately. (If you’re local, we can arrange a pickup to save you the shipping cost.)
• Each photo has the item’s price, and the mugs are labeled with how much they hold.
• Payments can be made safely through PayPal.

💛 A Quick Heart-to-Heart About Small Business + Hard Times 💛

I want to take a moment to address something that’s been on my mind — not in a defensive way, but in an honest, human way.

I completely understand that things are hard for a lot of people right now. The economy has been heavy. Groceries cost more, bills cost more, assistance programs have become unstable, and so many people are just trying to get by. I’m not blind to that, and I’m not ignoring it. I’m in that reality too.

At the same time, making and selling my art is my job. It’s how I pay my bills, keep a roof over my head, take care of my pets, and literally feed myself. This isn’t a hobby — it’s my livelihood. And for small artists like me, promoting our work isn’t greed or pressure… it’s survival.

I know not everyone can afford to buy handmade right now, and I would never expect or guilt anyone into spending money they don’t have. But for those who are shopping this season, choosing small businesses makes an enormous difference. One order isn’t just a sale — it’s groceries, it’s gas in the car, it’s a vet bill, it’s stability.

The truth is, times like these are when small creators need support the most. Sales have been down for so many artists since the pandemic and the economic downturn, and if I don’t promote my art, it simply doesn’t get seen. And if it doesn’t get seen, I don’t sell anything.

So yes — you’ll see me posting more. You’ll see me showing new work, sharing specials, and reminding people that my art exists. Not because I’m ignoring the hardship around me, but because I’m living through it too — and this is how I survive it.

✨ Still here, still creating, still grateful for all of you ✨

It’s been a while since I’ve posted—life this year has been full of transitions. I’ve moved twice, faced ongoing health challenges, had a minor car accident in August, and went through a stressful prairie dog pet emergency in September. These moments slowed my creating, but they’ve also reminded me how much this work matters to me, and how much I cherish the support from everyone who has been following my journey.

Porri’s Mug – A Tribute in Clay

This mug is a labor of love, made in memory of my sweet girl, Porri. Her actual paw print is carved into the bottom, a reminder of the paw prints she left on my heart. Every part of this piece holds meaning, from the texture to the colors to the eyes.

I want to thank everyone who helped me decide on the eyes—I truly appreciated your input! In the end, I went with the second favorite choice, because it just felt more like her. Sometimes, art isn’t about the most popular option, but the one that speaks to the soul.

This mug is a little piece of her, and I’m so grateful to share it with you.
