True North Collected

A few hours at each vendor spot today!! Kind of a pre-Christmas rearrange, color-scaping and pre-staging.
But I love the new views 🫶

We had so much fun visiting all the businesses today in downtown Brookville at Witches Day Out. My daughter made a tiny apothecary jar with salts and dried herbs and we enjoyed all the festive people, vendors, and themed events and merch at every stop.
Today, we also drew for the winner of the vintage Halloween arrangement. 👻🎃🧙💀🦉🥀
Thank you to Pink Missie for doing our drawing and my daughter for the camera work. And thank you for those who shared my love of vintage and antiques. 🥰. 🖤🤍🧡
Let's see if the winner is watching!! ;)

My visit to Foire de Chatou was not complete until I found a piece of original art. This portrait of a seated woman caught my attention for its simplicity in subject with such moody coloring. And the frame is incredible. I have it dated to 1930-1950.
One of the more enjoyable ways to source vintage and antiques is to completely trust your eye. Is it calling to you? Bring it home, and then the research is an added treasure!

Only 3 hours and a small budget at Fall 2026 Foire de Chatou antiques market in Chatou, France? I had a short shopping list: majolica, copper, brass, something for daughter, books... It was good practice for "next time." 🇫🇷

🧡📼🪩
Where are my hard core '70s people? I'm going to clean up the fabric, and this suitcase style Toyo AM stereo speaker set is ready!
It has an 8 track player, which is doing *something* when I put in a tape, but not playing the music.
🧡🧡🧡
If ever there was a radio for "Dad's garage," this is it!
So happy Seals and Croft came on. Love it!!!

Hi! I'm Erin. You can see me in the mirror below. I'm getting ready to give away this cool vintage Halloween assemblage, so this is the post where you can find out how. 👻🎃🕷️
I'm sharing 5 truths about True North Collected so new followers can learn a little bit about me. I am glad you're here!
💙 I have two vendor booths in western PA: Pink Missie’s This & That and J.B.A Farmhouse Reclaimed & Repurposed
💙 I love Scandinavian decor, Mid Century, Grand Millennial aesthetic, western boho, shabby chic, antique garden, industrial and architectural salvage, eclectic stuff and honestly a mix of it all! 🤩 I grew up with versions of all of this.
💙 I'm on Instagram and will begin selling special vintage/antique finds there.
💙 I live with my teenage daughter and our Cavapoo named Ruby.
💙 When I'm not picking for my vintage booths, I'm at my job, watching marching band, or hiking.
