Switching it around a bit. Happy fungus Friday! (if that's not a thing, it should be!)

The purple ones are my first dabble into the gorgeous purple batches from at in Belfast. Not joking about me finding craft supplies anywhere!

(Not that I need project ideas, I have too many, but also, new shiny toys, what's a good think to needlefelt with lots of purple? I'm not up to making myself a dragon just yet!)

Hmm, it feels a little odd alternating between celebrating surviving remnants of past ages and decomposers. Or possibly I'm overthinking yet again 😅

I'm sure you're shocked that I went on a birding/hiking trip and still came home with craft supplies.

Turns out Lubec is short on places to eat, but has a rock shop! They were just labeled fossil shells, I think they might be elimia like in turitella agate, anyone more knowledgeable have ideas? And two slices of amethyst that caught my eye.

The moons are from in Belfast ME, and .to.stem in Worcester, MA.
