Hi, I’m Andréa — the hands & heart behind Aarts Jewellery Studio ✨

I’m an independent jeweller based in Bellville, creating custom-made jewellery, sentimental remodels, I also do repairs on jewellery.

I work from my private studio space on an appointment-only basis, I’m naturally drawn to delicate detail, thoughtful design & practical craftsmanship with timeless aesthetics.

For me, jewellery is not just something beautiful to wear — it is created with intention & emotion, memory, craftsmanship, sustainability, & connection - it carries its own story...

Quality is deeply important to me. I believe beauty is often found in the care & intention behind the smallest details.

Outside of jewellery, I’m a proud wifey 🤍, cat mom 🐈, plant lover 🌿, and nature soul at heart. You’ll usually find me enjoying camping trips with an open-fire braai & good music, beach vibes, local markets, gardening, DIY projects using natural materials, and of course… coffee ☕ (tea just doesn’t quite satisfy me).

I value quiet living. A slower rhythm of life. The fast-paced way the world moves today can sometimes feel overwhelming to me, which is why I find so much peace in creating with my hands, working intentionally. Surrounding myself with things that feel meaningful & grounding.

I strongly believe quality will always matter more than quantity — and that supporting local artisans, handmade craftsmanship, and thoughtfully created pieces brings far more value than mass production.

I also value recycling & repurposing materials in both jewellery making and DIY projects — giving new life to what already exists and finding beauty in transformation.

I’m a little old school at heart, so opening up online is a little outside my comfort zone — but I’m looking forward to sharing more of the journey with you, one step at a time ✨

From gold granules to a forever piece ✨
This custom-made 9ct white gold wedding band was handcrafted from start to finish...carefully joined the new wedding band to the client’s engagement ring to create one seamless symbol of commitment and connection.

Made to last a lifetime.

Something new, shaped from something deeply meaningful.

This custom gentsband was created using his old ring — carrying forward its story.

The diamonds, once belonging to a dear friend who has passed, were carefully set into this rugged black oxidized band.

A small piece of 9ct yellow gold, which once held his father’s emerald, was preserved and reworked into the new design — creating a striking contrast, separated by a quiet line between scattered diamonds.

Imperfect. Raw. Intentional.
Because sometimes, it’s the imperfections that make a piece truly one of a kind.

Jewellery can tell stories!

Our client entrusted us with more than materials — a natural emerald which was gifted to him by his father, and diamonds from a dear friend’s ring who has passed.

We gently brought these memories together into two new custom pieces, honouring the love, loss, and legacy behind each element.

The natural Emerald, worn and rich with history, was left untouched… because its journey is part of its beauty. It carries his personal life theme: Redeemed.

A piece not just worn, but deeply felt.
