A Bittersweet Goodbye
After an amazing 4-year journey, I’ve made the incredibly tough decision to close Emily + Me in the new year. This business has been such a source of pride for me, creating truly South African products and connecting with the most incredible people along the way.
To everyone who accepted a bag for a campaign, bought one of our products, shared a post, or left a kind comment—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support has meant the world to me, and I will forever treasure the connections I’ve made through this journey.
But as life evolves, priorities shift. With two small children, a full-time job, and my roles as a mom and a wife, I’ve realized I simply can’t give Emily + Me the attention it deserves. After a recent health scare that forced me to take a long pause, I’ve had to face the fact that something has to give—and it’s time for me to focus on my family and well-being.
This decision comes with plenty of tears but also immense gratitude. These past four years have brought so much joy, creativity, and connection into my life, and I will always look back on this chapter with a full heart.
Thank you for being part of Emily + Me’s story. It’s not the end of the journey—just a new beginning.
