This magnificent large Victorian cameo came in yesterday. Set in 15ct gold, it depicts Michael Angelo's David and would date from around 1890. It has a secure pin to the back and a gold bale so can be worn as a brooch or a pendant.

I just want to highlight this large agate brooch that has a twisted silver bale attached to the centre of the setting so as it can be worn as a pendant too. The silver frame is hand worked with filligree wire between the balls. The agate is beautiful when held up to the light with swirls of greys, whites and browns. The clasp also has an unusual mechanism and it really is an expertly crafted piece. Date wise, probably from around 1900 give or take.
