Thereās something deeply sentimental about Forget-me-nots⦠like they were made to carry memories.š
One tale tells of a medieval knight and his love walking along a riverbank. He leaned down to pick these tiny blue flowers for her, but the weight of his armour pulled him into the water. As he was swept away, he threw the flowers to her and cried, āForget me not!ā
Another story says that when God was naming all the flowers, one tiny bloom worried it would be overlooked. So it called out, āForget me not, O Lord!ā - and the name stayed.
Across time, these delicate flowers have come to symbolise remembrance, enduring love, and the quiet promise that even when something (or someone) is gone, theyāre never truly forgotten.
I think thatās why Iām always drawn to working with them⦠each tiny bloom holds a story, a memory, a feeling preserved in time.
