Gifted Youth Organisation

Gifted Youth Organisation Which result to those students from disadvantaged homes with no money to travel to near by schools to drop out.

We believe that the youth of keiskammahoek through education can be anything they wished they could be growing up, and that regardless of the poor background or rural area they grow up on, they to can become the leaders of tomorow, we further believe that We, the keiskammahoek students recognise that young people specifically the learners from high school around Keiskammahoek dropping out of schoo

l and after matriculation not because they want to but because of lack of knowledge on how they can further their education. And the closing down of high schools due to the number of learners that is below the required number by the department of education. We recognised that most of the youth quit school on lower grade/level of study and go to work on farms ,factories and small retailers around keiskammahoek. Some are imprisoned,on drugs and involved on elegal practices, These challenges rob our youth of their lives, values, dignity and hope. Young people are the jewels of our society and community; they need to be nurtured, mentored to making the right choices and decisions. We as Gifted Youth Organisation want to restore hope, respect, dignity and love amongst the youth. We want to break the spirit of low self-esteem, and peer pressure which result in them making the wrong choices and decisions and leading them to self-destruction.

Participation by the general public in this event is encouraged as it showcases the indigenous knowledge of our people in science.

This event is themed “Celebrating scientific areas in which South Africa has a competitive edge” with a sub-theme “International year of water cooperation”.The objective is to raise awareness of the challenges facing water management in the context of greater demand for water, a scarce commodity in the whole of South Africa.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.' We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."gudnyt ba khaya

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence. "The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you." Something good will happen ,nyt ma Qobo Qobo Amahle
