THE EVIL ONE DOES NOT KNOCK
WE pray that life will be great for you. Whatever you set out to do will be prosperous!
John 3:20
For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.
We should become more familiar with good versus evil; guard ourselves, being watchful at all times.
Have you ever given thought of an intruder’s way of entrance; or how it has impact on our daily life?
An intruder force its way in or simply makes appearance without invitation or knocking. Another thought that we must consider is the way the righteous became the one locked in having to bar our doors against the approach of thieves and murderers.
We should always guard ourselves, be on alert, as when the intruder comes suddenly appears without a "knock" that warns us. It always catch us off-guard and at a moment least expected.
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
The evil one does not have anything that he earned, but purely lives on what it took from others. The way of living is to simply take and what he can get his hands on and even go as far to destroy or kill. While the prayerful become successful, the evil one already works on a scheme to rob you. By his many sins and dishonest trade, he gain wealth for himself and gather gold and silver in his treasuries. One can almost hear the ceaseless whispering, tattling, lying, scolding, flattery and self-pride.
1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walk about, seeking whom he may devour
The Evil one trades and excel in lies. He is a profound in his deception. His attacks, forces others by humbling themselves and falling right in his overpowering demands.
Two words summarize these wicked oppressors: arrogant and aggressive. Their pride and violence spell disaster for anyone who stands in their way. Better known as the "wicked" one, the lawless one, the man of perdition and tormentor. In their greed they love money and possessions more than YHVH.
Psalm 10:2
In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak, who are caught in the schemes he devises.
Yeshua said, “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?” (Mark 8:36). The wicked boast in their desires, but the Scriptures say, “Let the one who boasts, boast in YHVH” (1 Corinthians 1:31).
Because he is affluent, he is convinced that nothing can touch him.
Here is what he thinks in his heart of hearts:
Psalm 10:6
He says in his heart, “I shall not be moved; throughout all generations I shall not meet adversity.”
The evil one works with devious tactics of temptation to destroy your faith and get you to believe in every word he speaks. The word for temptation can also mean to be tested.
Sin is like an insect lays the egg in the blossom. The insect does not lie its larvae in the fruit but rather the larvae starts developing as the fruit grows around it. It later becomes a worm that hatches inside the fruit and eats its way out.
Yeshua taught us something when He said, “That which proceeds out of the man, that is what defiles the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness. All these things proceed from within and defile the man” Mark 7:20-23
Psalm 58:3
The wicked are estranged from the womb; they go astray from birth, speaking lies.
The wicked man is treacherous. He ambushes the unsuspecting. Sin stems from within and from a violent heart come violent actions.
Psalm 10:8–10
He sits in ambush in the villages; in hiding places he murders the innocent.
His eyes stealthily watch for the helpless; he lurks in ambush like a lion in his thicket;
he lurks that he may seize the poor; he seizes the poor when he draws him into his net.
The helpless are crushed, sink down, and fall by his might.
1 John 3:12-14
Do not be like Cain, who was from the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his deeds were evil, while his brother’s were righteous. Do not be surprised, brothers and sisters, if the world hates you.
When we read sin is “crouching”, we try to analyze what this really means. Looking at the word crouching it does not say it “knocked”. It infact adopt a position where the knees are bent. So was this a good or bad thing? The comparison is being made of a predator crouching in waiting at the threshold of this home ready to strike and devour its victim.
Evil always look for victims. Somebody unguarded, unexpected and without realizing it is there. He works in cunning ways of deceiving methods. First testing your knowledge and if you have the wisdom.
Genesis 4:7
If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you refuse to do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires you, but you must master it.”
The reality is that the struggle with sin, while an inward spiritual struggle, is like wrestling against an evil spirit, seeking to kill and destroy. Instead, sin must be dominated and ruled over. Not only is YHVH emphasizing the urgency of Qayin’s repentance, but also to communicate the very real battle that he face as a fugitive. That is not a battle against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities and thus we must take up the whole armor of YHVH Ephesians 6:11-12
The arrogance of the wicked expresses itself in injustice, but their root problem is their utter disregard for YHVH. They no longer sense any accountability to YHVH. So the wicked give free rein to the violence in their heart.
Leviticus 19:16-18
You must not endanger the life of your neighbor. I am YHVH. You must not harbor hatred against your brother in your heart. Directly rebuke your neighbor, so that you will not incur guilt on account of him. Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against any of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am YHVH.
Let us read just a few Scriptures contained the word “wicked”. The definition of wicked is someone or something who is Evil, Transgressor, cruel, iniquity, morally bad in principle or practice mischievous, deceiving, work with malicious plans, commit unrighteous acts, destructive, sinful and unholy. Unclean Spirit, Thief, slanderous, liar, devious, cunning, corruptive, sly, murderous and perversitive. The wicked is sexually immoral, sorcerers and idolaters.
We start with Ezekiel 33:11
Say unto them, As I live, said YHVH Elohim, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn you, turn you from your evil ways; for why will you die, O house of Israel?
Proverbs 6:12-16
A worthless person, a wicked man, goes about with crooked speech, winks with his eyes, signals with his feet, points with his finger, with perverted heart devises evil, continually sowing discord; therefore calamity will come upon him suddenly; in a moment he will be broken beyond healing. There are six things that YHVH hates, seven that are an abomination to Him
Psalm 37:38
But transgressors will be altogether destroyed; The posterity of the wicked will be cut off.
Psalm 37:1-40
Of David. Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. Trust in YHVH, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in YHVH, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to YHVH; trust in Him, and He will act.
It is certain that an evil or wicked person do not concern or associate themselves with the word of YHVH. The will laugh and scoff when they are approached with anything related to Biblical and do not feel offended or guilty.
Psalm 140:2
Who devise evil things in their hearts; They continually stir up wars.
Psalm 28:3
Do not drag me away with the wicked And with those who work iniquity, Who speak peace with their neighbors, While evil is in their hearts.
Psalm 36:4
He plans wickedness upon his bed; He sets himself on a path that is not good; He does not despise evil.
Psalm 37:4
Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Proverbs 24:8
One who plans to do evil, Men will call a schemer.
Proverbs 11:20-22
Perverse hearts are an abomination to YHVH. His favor is on those blameless in their ways.
Be sure, the evil will not go unpunished, but the offspring of the righteous will be delivered.
It is the desire of YHVH that all will turn from their wickedness and that they will be saved. As we read in the time of Noah the influence of wickedness increased and filled the earth.
Genesis 6
YHVH saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. YHVH was grieved that He had made man on the earth, and His heart was filled with pain.
The story of S***m and Gomorrah is a cautionary tale of the destructive consequences of sin.
As YHVH is Holy, we have the assurance that evil is not welcome in the Kingdom of YHVH. Since the “kingdom of YHVH” is the predominant phrase of His Holiness, evil is by far the most separated.
Evil will find its way to enter as it operates in sly ways, it never knocks to enter but use a forceful way. It is corruptive and ready to steal, kill and take what is yours.
YHVH will not hold any blameless for the deaths of 'Innocents'. Another word for “Innocent” means “blameless.” Deuteronomy 19:10-that innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which YHVH Elohim give thee... Deuteronomy. 27:25 cursed be he that takes reward to slay an innocent person.
Psalm 10:8 in the secret places does he murder the innocent...Psalm 106:38 And shed innocent blood, even blood of their sons and of their daughters, and polluted the land with blood. Proverbs 6:16, 17...These six things does YHVH hate: yes, seven are an abomination unto Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood. Isaiah 59:7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood...Jeremiah 19:4 Because they have forsaken Me, and have estranged this placeand have filled this place with the blood of the innocents
All of these references and more “innocents” mean blameless. YHVH will not hold blameless these murders!
Our nation is similar to what was mentioned in Jeremiah 19:4 ... filled this place with the blood of the innocents
2 Timothy 3
But understand this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, savage, opposed to what is good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, loving pleasure rather than loving Elohim. They will maintain the outward appearance of religion but will have repudiated its power. So avoid people like these.
For some of these insinuate themselves into households and captivate weak women who are overwhelmed with sins and led along by various passions. Such women are always seeking instruction, yet never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. And just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these people -- who have warped minds and are disqualified in the faith -- also oppose the truth. But they will not go much further, for their foolishness will be obvious to everyone, just like it was with Jannes and Jambres.
You, however, have followed my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, my faith, my patience, my love, my endurance, as well as the persecutions and sufferings that happened to me in Antioch, in Iconium, and in Lystra. I endured these persecutions and the Lord delivered me from them all. Now in fact all who want to live godly lives in Yeshua HaMashiach will be persecuted. But evil people and charlatans will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and being deceived themselves. You, however, must continue in the things you have learned and are confident about. You know who taught you and how from infancy you have known the holy writings, which are able to give you wisdom for salvation through faith in Yeshua HaMashiach. Every scripture is inspired by YHVH and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the person dedicated to YHVH may be capable and equipped for every good work.
When we make our cries known to YHVH, He responds. When we knock He opens, When we ask, He gives.
Matthew 5:8
Innocent blood have been spilled and many paid the price to the wealth of others. "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see YHVH"
YHVH has never deviated from His purpose of bringing everything into conformity. As the firstborn from the dead, Yeshua opened heaven's gates for all who trust in him. The pure one bore our impurities in his body when he suffered upon the cross, being crucified by evil.
What satan meant for evil, YHVH turned for our good. But how does taking a life satisfy the person in His spirit? The answer is, that they will never find peace and the door to the Kingdom of YHVH remains shut. The day of Judgment is for YHVH to decide.
The ones who are pure in heart will be rewarded. We prepare for the Kingdom by living according to the commandments and covenant of the Kingdom in the now.
Jeremiah 23:5
“‘Behold the days are coming,’ says YHVH, ‘That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; a King shall reign and prosper, and execute judgment and righteousness in the earth’”
Matthew 7:6-8
Do not give dogs what is holy; do not throw your pearls before swine. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces. Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.…
Some of life’s hardest moments occur when we or a loved one is facing death, left without a goodbye or we’re mourning a recent loss. The words of Yeshua and the good news of His words offer comfort and bring a message of hope that can make our grief feel a little brighter. The promising words of scripture offer both reassurance and hope. Although the body returns to the groud, the soul returns to YHVH and we will meet again in the everlasting Kingdom.
Revelation 22:12
Let the unrighteous continue to be unrighteous, and the vile continue to be vile; let the righteous continue to practice righteousness, and the holy continue to be holy.” “Behold, I am coming soon, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
Be Blessed and stay blessed
