A 2.3ct diamond, set in 18ct white and yellow gold.
This diamond has remained within the same family for generations — a symbol of courage and kindness in a time of darkness.
During the war, this Swiss family used diamonds like this not as symbols of wealth, but as a means of survival — helping Jewish friends secure safe passage away from danger. They also opened their home, hiding a young Jewish girl for the duration of the war.
Acts of courage, held within something so small… yet so powerful.
Passed from generation to generation, this diamond now lives on in a new setting — reimagined into something more modern, while still honouring everything it carries.

Two sisters. One grandmother’s ring.

They chose to honour it in their own way — one reimagined as a trilogy in white gold, the other as a simple solitaire set in copper. Same history, two very different expressions.

These designs say so much about who they are. Different personalities, different paths, and so much love between them. Both grounded, both beautiful, both deeply connected — to each other and to the woman who came before them.

Green Tourmaline Birthday Ring

Some pieces are special because of the metal and stones…
and some are special because of the person they’re made for.

This one was created for a dear client of mine — a fellow gemmophile
Her husband surprised her with it for her birthday, and honestly… the joy of working with someone who gets as excited about stones as I do? Unmatched.

We built this ring around a glowing green tourmaline, wrapped in warm yellow gold and finished with a white-gold halo of lab diamonds. A little refined, a little romantic, and fully centred around the stone she fell in love with.

Here’s to the magic that happens when two gemstone devotees sit down and dream up something beautiful together.
One of my absolute favourite builds of the year.
