“Founded in 2012, MRJ L’Atelier was created from a passion for jewellery as both art form and craftsmanship. Where history, proportion, femininity and artistry all collide.
Professionally trained in jewellery design, with foundations rooted in bench work, art history and design theory, every piece begins with intention.
At MRJ L’Atelier, jewellery is not simply about creating something beautiful. It is about understanding structure, balance, movement, wearability and the timeless principles that have shaped art and design for centuries. Including the golden ratio, a harmony found throughout nature, architecture and fine jewellery artistry itself.
This artisan ring embodies that philosophy. Inspired by antique Art Deco influences and old mine cut craftsmanship, the diamond reflects the romance of a bygone era ~ A time when stones were cut largely by hand and designed to glow under candlelight rather than harsh modern lighting. Often referred to as “candlelight cuts,” these diamonds carry a softness, depth and individuality that make them endlessly captivating.
Set in warm yellow gold, this piece blends delicate femininity with strong architectural detail. The exquisite hand engraving, organic flow and refined proportions create a ring that feels both heirloom and modern ~ where old world craftsmanship meets contemporary elegance.
For MRJ L’Atelier true jewellery design lives beyond the bench or social media posts.
It lies in the ability to merge and dance with history, modernism, emotion, artistry and craftsmanship into pieces that feel deeply personal, timeless, and entirely unique.” Marion Rehwinkel 2026.
