After months of testing, adjusting, learning, and starting over, we’ve created our first locally produced test pieces here in Oman.
Building a new production line from the ground up is never easy. Every detail requires patience, experimentation, and trust. Yet despite the challenges, I remain committed to this path.
Creating wearable art locally is at the core of my practice. Not because it is the easiest option, but because I deeply value traditional knowledge, craftsmanship, and the people who carry these skills forward.
There is still much work ahead, but seeing these first results reminds me why the journey is worth it.

There is a process behind everything of true value in this world, a process of making, of becoming. It can be complex and emotionally draining, yet it exists for a reason: to help us sit with our emotions, understand them, and sometimes let them go. To move forward in life, we need to fully process what we feel.

But when you are a mother wearing many hats, finding the time and space to truly go through that process is not always easy!
