Rubin Singer created Beyoncé’s stage look for the 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
That moment came with a tough brief: the costume had to look powerful in close-up and withstand high-intensity choreography. Every detail was assembled by hand, with careful attention to fit and freedom of movement. For the same show, Singer designed Michelle Williams’s costume and jackets for 120 dancers.
There’s a lineage to this approach. Rubin is a third-generation designer, raised between Paris and New York, who learned the craft from his father. He launched his own label in 2007. Unusual proportions, draping, and sculptural work with form became the core of his design language.
The Spring–Summer 2027 collection draws on architecture: the designer was inspired by Santiago Calatrava’s bridge in Buenos Aires. With that cue, the runway becomes a study in translation—architectural lines turning into curves of fabric, structure coming alive in motion.
The jewelry on the models deserves special mention too: stylistically, it echoes Oliver Weber Collection. That resonance invites a fresh look at the jewelry itself—imagining how these pieces could complement expressive cuts and intricate draping.
