Well Melb Ren Fair was giant hit!
Wasn’t it!!!!🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅
What a joy it was to just be there
soaking up the vibes, costumes
and the real community spirit
in Yarra Valley on the outskirts of Melbourne
(not a toll road in sight!)
🔅🤺🔅
Everything right down to the volunteers
in their beautiful uniforms was just spot on!
🔅⚔️🔅
I was happy to be visited by Konga - the human that dreamed up this weekend.
I’ve done a few Ren/Medieval fairs and I have to say
I have never before seen such attention to detail.
Right down to the security, customer and vendor
communications, fabulous helpful volunteers,
cool merch… the list goes on.
🔅🤺🔅
For me this weekend has been a reminder of what good teamwork, leadership, friendship and vision can achieve.
🔅🤺🔅
I have to also make a special mention about the
decorations/ flags and the gorgeous hand drawn
maps… the whole layout and design: it was just
so aesthetic.
🔅🤺🔅
Oh and don’t forget about the collectable Melb Ren Fair coin- specially minted for this auspicious occasion! I got mine!
🪙🔅🤺🔅
I’m so sorry I am going on more than usual
- but do yourself a favour and look out for
all the images participants are bound to start
posting now they have gone home.
There will be no shortage of medieval magic
- and that’s coming from this dark age Viking crone!
🔅🤺🔅
Rain could not dampen our spirits,
just whet our desire to enjoy life!
❤️
Can’t wait for the next one team!
❤️
and much love to all the new friends I made!
You guys made my weekend unforgettable.
I have the pics 🤣
