Introducing Fire & Rainbow, the South Australian Opal, Gemstone & Mineral Show, coming to the South Australian Museum in June 2027.

For one extraordinary week, opal buyers, exhibitors, collectors, makers, regional voices and the public will come together around South Australian opal, the Far North and our state’s remarkable mineral story.

The week will include:

🌈 A three-day public show
🥂 The Fire & Rainbow Gala Celebration Night
🏛️ Significant Museum opal stories and special collection moments, subject to Museum approval and curatorial, conservation and security requirements
