Here's one we've been sitting on for 12 years !

We knew there was colour hiding underneath but never expected this much !

Another successful split 🔨

It doesn't get much better than this !

We found a seam going the whole way through this massive boulder opal specimen we had and decided to take the risk !

Fair to say it paid off !

Here's a good example of how good a split can be sometimes 🤩🤩

Today is a very special day !

Not only is it Rundle mall's 50th birthday, but it is also ours! 🥳🥳🥳

On this day in 2012 Tim and Steve, our two master jewellers brought their skills and knowledge together with the dream of creating the best Opal shop in town, and 14 years on we'd humbly say they have achieved that dream.

Our shop and staff may look a little bit different to what they looked like back then, but our passion for Opal and our dedication to our customers has never changed.

We would like to thank all of our customers and friends we've made along the way for helping us in our journey to grow Unique Opal Mine into what it is today, and we look forward to what it will be in the future!
